Apparently, Mr. Schnur thinks voters are infallible. He conveniently left Proposition 8 off his list.Proposition 8 was an attempt to ban same-sex marriage; it passed in the November 2008 California state elections and was later overturned in court. Was the attempt to ban same-sex marriage an attack on democracy, or just the court case(s) attempting to overturn the proposition?Voters sometimes get things wrong, especially about esoteric issues like employment law, or the Due Process and Equal Protection Clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment.Thomas GrayLivermoreReparations willworsen racismRe: ̶...San Leandro: Legendary Raider Nation sports bar Ricky’s is making a comeback
